We're getting the chocolate fountain out again Saturday as we're having a Christmas party. Do you think chestnuts, roasted at home, would be nice in chocolate or are they too sweet already ?

But if you had strawberries on offer..Now that's a different matter
There's some in the fridge. Not bad actually, tried 'em before i bought 'em and for British strawberries in the winter they're not bad.
i'd like to try one i think tho, chocolate fountains are this years george formans.
Yes, but only nasty shit like Cadburys'. If it's got a high cocoa content, like 60%+ then you have to add very little, if any. We've got special fountain chocolate that you don't have to add oil too. Bit expensive though.
oh thats pretty cool then, is it tasty?
how hot does it get? could you dip body parts..ahem
The unit takes about 5 minutes to heat up, chocolate you can do in the microwave, in the bag and takes 4 minutes
Very hot, well the unit does. I burnt me fingers on it first time i used it 'testing' it to see how hot it got
in the selection of food that we could dip there was:
strawberries, pineapple, marshmellows, profiteroles, sweeties, banana, mini donuts, mini flapjacks
so yum!
i went to a wedding reception 3 weeks ago and there was one! i must have been up there about 20 times scoffing myself throughout the whole thing!
chestnuts do sound nice tho! and if youre not getting some already, i would recommend getting grapes (green are nicest!), marshmallows, fudge (the squares of it) and those mini doughnut things (saying this from experience hehe!!)
doughnuts are the nicest
hahahahaha Tea Bagging haven't heard that for a while!!!
Back to the topic I bet Cherries are really nice, obviously with the stones taken out.
Id like suggestions too.
My current favourites are strawberries, marshmallows banana, hazlenuts and walnuts, and wafers.
yum.
