Well this, obviously has been the highlight of my year and makes all else seem quite insignificant in comparison.

I was proud to have completed my first year of uni, something that I didn't think I'd achieve. I've also met some fantastic people, especially from here :)

In other achievements, I FINALLY broke 3 minutes for my 500m kayak sprints, and bought my own Kobra. I've yet to paddle it, but I have it :D

Theres been too many to name. Pretty much all of them involve my girlfriend. When I'm not with her, I usually just lie in bed and get stoned. Well, I kinda do that when I'm with her aswell.

Spending Valentines Day with her having a nice meal then going to a hotel for the night.

Being around when her nephew was born. I dunno why, but it felt really special to me.

    Slayer at the Reading Festival.

Aw, you're a cute one :heart:Although I do have a name... And yeh, you always lay in bed and get stoned regardless of whether I'm with you or not.

I'll pretty much second that. Most involve him.

    Valentine's day.
    My nephew.

Some great news about my other sister.

This thread has made me realise i have absolutely no highlights from this year. I can't actually think of a single good thing.

Ah well maybe next year will be better. One can but hope.

There's no one highlight, been lots of ups and downs. Maybe meeting Tony Blair next week (had to slip that in!)

2007 - it's the year that the UCL Bloomsbury gives me 2 days' run of the place to perform Cinderella. Promotional spammage to follow :p

Meeting some great new people in this job and generally having a laugh.
Passing my driving test and getting a car (in the next few weeks)
    Zinedine Zidane's headbutt
Meeting up with my old uni friends
Finally being in a position to move out (but I still haven't managed it yet :grump: )

And that bring me on to.....

    Goals for 2007
Go to see my sister in Canada
    Finally fucking move to Manchester
Get my computer working (I've had it since August, and I've had so much shit go back to the suppliers and they're sooooo slow at responding)
Use my new-found driving ability and posh (£1000) car to go and visit more of my friends
Build up my film/tv CV while holding down a job that'll let me pay for a house/car/food
If the right girl comes along, maybe experiment with one of these things known as a "relationship". Eeugh, I feel dirty just thinking about it. :yuck: :p
Watch Radiohead, Sigur Ros or The Flaming Lips (or all 3) live.
Use the fact that I live in Manchester to watch Man City more regularly.

Yeah if you're up for it. I would've talked to you on MSN, but you've never been on when I've gone on it (admittedly not that often, but still).

Ooo, my highlight was three weeks in New Zealand. Was very nice, although it all seems a bit of a dream now...

Hopefully I'll get my life sorted in 2007, as I seemed to do a pretty shit job of it this year!

    Highlight:

Oct 28th: After travelling 3 hrs to meet a girl I hardly knew, waking up next to on my birthday was utterly bizzare. Were are now an item btw.

Staying over at my Dads in France for a week or so in August, complete chill out in rural France. Plus extra few days thanks to the terror threat that broke out. Cheers Blair!

Plus anything from August onwards. After splitting up with the ex I moved from Manchester back to Derby, I wasn't sure if it was the right decision. 4 months on I'm happier for it.

    2007:

    More shenanigans with my g/f.

A proper job which I'm quitting weed to sort.

    Random events yet to happen.

My ambition for 2007 is to win the lottery, buy a bus with machine guns on the front, and mow down the skiving Stagecoach bastards on their picket line.
