More comedy gold!
Keep 'em coming!
It's a pretty well established fact that the State of Israel is a liberal democracy; before denying it I would suggest people learn the meaning of the term...

Political scientists would generally consider those in green to be liberal democracies
so's your mum!
Oh you do make me laugh!
What really must be embarrasing dis, is having to defend Israel's actions to all and sundry and pretending that your "liberal democracy" isn't attempting genocide in Palestine. That must be tough, poor love.
Two things.
1. Who is doing the slaughtering of innocents in Iraq? It sure as hell isn't the US Marines.
2. Iraq is an irrelevance for the Islamic terrorists. The terrorist agenda is the same agenda as for all terrorists- they want power on their terms. Sure Iraq and Afghanistan can be twisted to be an example of how Islam is being "subjugated" by the west, but the point still stands that even without these examples the Islamic terrorists would still be blowing up people. Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, and both attacks on the WTC were undertaken long before the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Of course Palestine was used as justification for these attacks, but again these people just hide behind excuses. What those attacks boiled down to was the inherent anti-semitism of Islam, the desire to kill anyone who is a Jew or lives in a country where Jews live.
Bear in mind, folks, that Iraq under Saddam was secular, with equal rights for men and women, Muslims and non-Muslims. Baghdad even had a synagogue. These people are glad that Saddam's gone, because now they have power.
As for the terrorists "admitting" that Iraq is why they did it- well, they would say that, wouldn't they? They're not gonna say "I've been brainwashed by some cunt in a beard, and I don't care how many innocent people come with me", are they? They've got to try and justify it, to themselves as much as anything. Iraq is a lovely soundbite for these people, nothing more.
Better read than most, even of those following the respective religions, I'd wager.
And the reason why they are killing themselves is because of the political instability due to the invasion.
Sure there will always be terrorism, he said it has fuelled further terrorism and it has.
There are 40,000 Jews in Iran, shouldn't they all be dead by now?
Exactly, there's was obedience under Sadam, religious people could preach freely, they can't now. Why? Because the transition has been bad, America's fault yet again. Didn't exactly think this one through did they?
Yeh, great insight there.
Not Muslims. The Koran is sacred, they've read it numerous times, this is practicing Muslims of course. They're not like Christains, we go to mass and bear it out, leave and think we'll be alright as long as we turn up next week.
1. You have a short and selective memory. An initial bombing campaign by the U.S. lead forces in Iraq left many innocents dead. Remember?
2. Of course the video tape evidence of the July 7th bombers is by-the-by to you, right? I mean, after all, once you’ve finished sucking up all the shit the government spoon feeds you, why bother with the facts? Still, I’m sure you know the minds of the people who strap on bombs better than they know themselves.
Of course what you may be confusing yourself with is the difference between what terrorists need as fuel to justify their atrocities, and the fact there is no justification for it.
I’m sure that if you did a quick straw poll of Iraqis, they’d all tell you how much happier they are nowadays, seeing as their country has descended into civil war and all.
stand corrected
If the US army leaves Iraq now, all hell will break loose in the middle east.
Whether the war is illegal or not is besides the point. We need to sort out the situations so the Iraqi innocents stop dying and the infidels (love that word) are destroyed.
UK is always gonna be a target of extremists, whatever they do or don't do. Same with the States.
A lot of people at the moment are talking shit in the papers, but none of them are coming up with suggestions on how to resolve things.
Did you know that 6 out of 10 Iraqis support attacks on the Allied occupation forces? There is a lot of anger generated by the very presence of US and British troops there.
Time to end the occupation, time for the US and British governments to say sorry and to admit they lied to the world about the reasons for invading Iraq, and time for Bush and Blair to at least be kicked out of office in shame (since sadly nobody has the balls to charge them with war crimes).
Those three things would do a trillion times more for peace in Iraq than all the Allied troops in the world can.
