Favourite tipple

Well, I've always like wine, and still do, but can only have it once in a while. Took a shine to lagers but these days they seem a bit... insubstantial / tasteless to me.

I've been enjoying trying some of the stronger spirits these days, but they come with a bit of a price tag. Mind you, I tend to 'sample' rather than glug bottles of whatever, I just enjoy the different flavours / textures / experiences you get from different beverages.

Don't really like Vodka, it's just a bit boring.

So... what about you? And could you recommend me something a bit stronger than larger but still cheap enough to drink sociably at the pub? I'll give it a try tonight if there are any good suggestions :)

Ya have gotta love cocktails :D

I also drink wine and spirits (usually double vodkas). Recently though, I've developed a love for cider, especially Koppaberg!

I don't really vary from Magners, Baileys and ice, assorted alcopops or Aftershock if I'm really going for it.

Can take or leave white wine, but any time I've touched red wine it ends in tears.

Just come back from the pub where everybody for some reason has been drinking 'cum shots' i.e Baileys and Lime. Strange but not all that bad.
    Anybody else drunk this?

It depends, if I'm down the pub it will either be some sort of fancy pants imported beer or the nice suger rush drunk feeling you can only get from Strongbow.

At home its largely vodka or run cocktails.

It's more about the the drink you like, rather than it's effects on you. I'd assume that's why it's been moved.

This thread is more about tastes than it is about getting inebriated I think.
