Well, I've always like wine, and still do, but can only have it once in a while. Took a shine to lagers but these days they seem a bit... insubstantial / tasteless to me.
I've been enjoying trying some of the stronger spirits these days, but they come with a bit of a price tag. Mind you, I tend to 'sample' rather than glug bottles of whatever, I just enjoy the different flavours / textures / experiences you get from different beverages.
Don't really like Vodka, it's just a bit boring.
So... what about you? And could you recommend me something a bit stronger than larger but still cheap enough to drink sociably at the pub? I'll give it a try tonight if there are any good suggestions

a large glass of pinot grigio (wine goes straight to my head )
I also drink wine and spirits (usually double vodkas). Recently though, I've developed a love for cider, especially Koppaberg!
Can take or leave white wine, but any time I've touched red wine it ends in tears.
Anybody else drunk this?
Or Rum and Coke.
This ca:yes: n go In food and DRINK now.
I dunno why.
At home its largely vodka or run cocktails.
It's more about the the drink you like, rather than it's effects on you. I'd assume that's why it's been moved.
This thread is more about tastes than it is about getting inebriated I think.
And people would drink just as much lager as they do now if it didnt get them pissed?
