Ninety's classics!

edited January 2023 in General Chat
I've recently been downloading a load of what i consider to be classic tunes from the 90's.

Having grown up with a sister 8 years older than me i used to listen to all the popular songs from a very early age and i love lots of songs from this era but
although these may come naturally to some of you, bear in mind that in 1990 i was 5 years old so my memory of names and titles is not that great:D

So far i have: (give or take a couple that i've forgot)

Snow - informer
Eurythmics - sweet dreams
Ace of base - I saw the sign
KWS - Please dont go
Kris kross - Jump
UB40 - (too many to list)
Lisa Loeb - Stay
Bob Marley - Baby i love your way
Snap - Rhythem is a dancer
Babylon zoo - Spaceman
Enya - Anywhere it is
Sheryl crow - If it makes you happy
Alannis morrisette - ironic
Deep blue something - Breakfast at tiffanys

Can anyone think of anymore that i might like or you think i've probably forgotten?

It's always new if you've only jut discovered it :D

My mum said that to me the other day. I was listening to my Tim Buckley CD, and she said, "You know you'd like so and so. They're like this, but 30 years ago." "Thanks for that mum. This is from 40 years ago." Love the way the old parentals assume that anything you listen to is a dodgy copy of the "real music" they used to have back in the day. Though I was shocked the other week when my dad said "Oh yeah, Radiohead are quite good."
