    swedes are BIGGER than turnips!

    Technically they're both a variety of turnip,but if you go to a grocer and ask for a swede, you'll get the big one with orangey insides, whereas if you ask for a turnip you'll get the little one with white insides.


    (both sets of grandparents had vegetable gardens, and they both grew turnips, but NOT swedes)

    I did a vegetable gratin. Bf had steak, i had Quorn tikka fillets, which weren't too bad for Quorn.
