That thing called Chemistry

Hi there, i'm new here, so go easy on me.
Anyway, there's this girl I really like called Janet, and I pulled her. The thing is, when I asked her out the next day, she said she'd have to think about it. Then, came the summer holidays, (three months), and she said she still had to think about it. Eventually, she declared that I was too "full on". I really haven't got a clue what she meant by that, as all my friends (inc girls)said that I am the least full on person they know.
Anyway, thinking it was me, I went and bought her flowers and apologised and some point. Now, she's a hell lot more smiley with me and more willing to talk to me.
I still have feelings for her, but I haven't mentioned the kiss since I apologised, and our one of our mutual friends have asked me whether or not I still fancy her, (I said yes) and told me that Janet really likes me, but the friend thinks that she doesn't fancy me ( But Janet and her friend haven't got on well recently). What the hell am I supposed to do? Do I have a chance? And if she didn't fancy me, do people develop the chemistry between them or is that a separate thing altogether?

It sounds like 1 of those situations where she just wants to b friends n it might b best to leave it that way otherwise she'll distance herself again n mayb even avoid u permantly.
If u do talk to her, make her say it, dont come out with I fancy u or whatever cos that'll put her off... mayb talk to her friends if u know n e of them.
C what they say n the message will magically get back to her that u like her, but it aint a definate thing, n u'll know from her friends what she thinks
TIP TO ALL READERS!!
Unless you're really serious about study/becoming a chemistry teacher and you can stick to it, don't do Chemistry. I got 33% in the mock and that's an N (fail)
Viti kuin muuri.
secondly, pete i agree with you!! im glad i did take the chem subject though coz i want to do biochemistry at uni and you need chem! its mostly horrible. but ive got Bs for my first 2 modules so im happy with that <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"> people in my school seem to do worse in biology than chem, even though im sure its easier, as i do both! sorry im going completely off topic...blame pete!
One tip from past experience, don't leave it to the last two weeks before your exams. I got a B in the end, but don't follow my example...trust me on this one.
im terrible at revising, i do it the night before usually! should be revising now (well maybe not at 1:30am), but im just on the net loads and gonig out to parties instead! if i fail, this is why!!
