Charming Skive. Did you know they are using it to treat multiple myeloma, a form of bone marrow cancer, as well as now investigating it for use in treating HIV-related symptoms by reducing inflammation (blocking TNF), prostate cancer, glioblastoma, lymphoma, and Crohn's disease? Wikipedia knows all...
Well Duh!
Actually I did recently see something recently on TV about it being a reinvented wonder drug, and it's new use for HIV and Cancer, though people seemed hesitant because of it's history.
LSD, probably, though of course it could warp the mind of the baby.
And ketamine doesnt seem to harm the baby either, but again you're taking a risk.
General rule of thumb is to say that there is no conclusive proof that any illegal drugs are not going to damage the foetus, so its a big risk for a pregnant woman to take.
Yes, but its in such tiny amounts its almost impossible for it to do any physical damage.
However, you are totally right, I wouldnt by any means say that illegal drug use is safe, let alone safe for a pregnant woman.
The worst by far of the illegals is cocaine. huge risk of foetal defects, mscarriage, stillbirth etc.
Yes and no. Much was made of 'crack babies' and cocaine is certainly not good for the baby, but to say its much worse than the others isnt right. Its the whole package, its not just the cocaine, but the diet and lifestyle of a full on crack user which causes the problems. If the mother was a heavy meth user the effect would be quite similar.
