My name is alex. I am a boy and I am already 22 years old!! I live in the great city of gloucester. Of course, that's in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom, but I'll bet you knew that!! This year I've been so good that I should really be on the 'Nice' List!!
Father Christmas, some things I might like for Christmas this year are:
- large stake in e$$o;
- capital gains tax rebate; and,
- points taken off my provisional license
but i'll bet you knew that!!
Love, alex
Nah, best to be prepared
Well, we know what the merchants are thinking; I mean the public.
Yeah, sorry, I make myself sick and everything, but this year I'm starting early! I left it until after Sam's birthday in the second week of December last year and it was HORRIBLY chaotic. This year on Christmas Eve I'm going to be smugly at home in my warm kitchen, making mince pies and listening to the Nine Lessons from Kings on the radio. Not battling my way round Tesco and Marks.
Fair point, but now it's still too early. I don't think about Christmas/what I want until about October at least.
Oh bloody hell. I'm growing to hate halloween, because my boyfriend thinks its funny to buy masks (from anywhere) and hang them around his room. So far we've got a monkey and a mouse - and I can feel the things watching me as I fall asleep.
Not when you have three children under 5, two other children, a chronically ill husband and a dog to look after and you have to get presents for all of them and extended family and do all the food shopping too.... I find it difficult just to LEAVE the house.... and then once I do you can bet it's not long before Sophie's crying to be fed... then I have to be back for 3 p.m. So 20 days in December REALLY isn't long enough for me, especially with all the things that nursery and the schools have on in that month too...
Phew, I feel tired already just thinking about it. How the bloody hell do I do it?! I think I should change my name to wonderwoman.
God only knows!! Alright, I'll allow you Novemeber as well then
ETA: (I still refuse to start til December, because November is my birthday month and I hate all the talk of christmas ON my birthday. IT's irrrtating. I got to my mates on my birthday one year and they were PUTTING THE TREE UP. I mean.... :eek2:)
Blimey hehe. Only seems like yesterday. James will be 3 in Feb:grump:
I need to start saving now, luckely for me, my family is really small.
The shopping centers will start decorating about mid October, Harrods already have.
I doubt I'll get seriously underway till then, but if you only knew how hectic my life really is... it sounds like loads but I have so little time to do stuff in reality.
Seriously, just no.
Its SEPTEMBER for fucks sake!! We've not even had halloween yet! Anything christmas like should be banned until december the 1st.
some people i know have their xmas trees up in october too :S
i don't send cards out till about 2nd week of December
I personally dont send any cards, but usually my mum starts to send them the first week of December.
Wheres peoples christmas spirit?
Except as today is quiet warm, it dont seem like xmas is only 3 months away.
