For those of us not in a rage! (Sorry Glittery ;) )

What good things have happened to you today?

My eldest boys came back from visiting their dad for two weeks yesterday. All went without a single hitch, kids seem genuinely happy to be home and Mr M has taken them both fishing this afternoon. Yay, a happy house!

I started feeling broody after watching half of Jack and Sarah, and I ALREADY HAVE A GORGEOUS BABY GIRL TO COO OVER! It doesn't get better than that. :D

And I bought £73 worth of cookery books for a tenner, brand new, including two Nigel Slaters which are worth more almost twice that by themselves. :thumb:

    My boyfriend came back from his weekend away and we had a lovely cup of tea on the back steps before I sat on my arse and watched him put up a new wardrobe. What can I say? Manual labour definitely does it for me ;)

    I found Sea of Love in a charity shop at the weekend (but that was Saturday's squee moment) and we're going to watch it tonight, I love it.

    Aaaand I got my first birthday present which was an indecently large amount of ££ from my folks. I knew they'd come good... eventually :thumb: (I jest! Kind of..)

    I passed my theory test, and got bought a bottle of champagne and a bottle of perfume :) Has been a good day.

    Well my day is marginally imroving, I escaped the devil child to go to the chemist to get her some chloroform (:p) and bought myself a bag of maltesers, oh and a custard slice :yum:

    I had a successful interview for a volunteers job today.
    And I got a 20 year old bottle of Johnny Walker as a gift. (bastards, they know I don't drink whisky, well I guess it's a good display item)
    And today is the forst day that I can say that my nan is actually getting a little better....

    in a horrendous mood this morning! but chirped up a bit towards the end.
    nothing exciting happened, but my boyfriend has been given an interview for a super dooper job, in a nice area, which is all good! :D and i had lemon slices, that brightens up my day no end!

    my day just got better when i went for petrol and it was only 92.9p yay, cheapest ive had for ages, makes a diff cos i do too much driving!
