Right, here goes.........
A year or so ago my boyfriend took some erm naked pictures of me, i thought it was a good laugh to pose and stuff and he loved it. He took them on the camera on his phone and i thought he had just kept them there.
Last week he lent his laptop to his mate because he was going to use it for a driving theory cd rom and thats fair enough, i didnt think anything of it. Yesterday his mate brought the laptop back and said that he "found" the pictures of me
My boyfriend told me that his mate had seen the pictures and i was shocked because i thought he still had them on his phone, he said that he had put them on the computer but hidden them well and also but them in a hidden folder.
I feel quite violated, i know that i agreed to having the pictures taken and stuff but i didnt know that some little snoop would end up seeing them
Sorry, just had to have a little rant
What are everyones thoughts?

I would be absolutely livid. Not sure who at though - if your boyfriend didn't make any effort to hide them like he said the it would be him I was angry at.
However, your bfs mate had no right to snoop around private and, supposedly, hidden files.
I actually don't see a real problem, maybe I am blunt in that department. A mate saw nudie pics of you, what a disaster! He won't see you in a different light, will most probably not tell around (he would be an arse, if) and that's it.
It's not a crime for a b/f to take pics of his girl and maybe he stored them on the laptop, because his storage on the cell was filled.
end of story...
Im a bit suspicious why the "mate" felt the need to tell her what he`d seen. I just hope he hasnt made a copy.
That was my initial thought, too. Did he tell you, or tell your boyfriend who then told you?
To be honest, I'm sure that with the amount of compromising pictures people [I know] take of their partners and conquests on mobile phones that occasionally they are seen by the wrong eyes - but blabbing to the person in question seems a bit out of order and weird... especially in a situation where they were supposedly concealed (and they're therefore exposing themselves as a snooper into the bargain).
My boyfriend told me today that he had a word with him telling him that i wasnt happy about it and his mate simply asked "well why did you tell her that i had seen them?"
I respect my boyfriend for telling me that his mate had seen these pictures but i am not in the mood to forgive his mate
His 'mate' is the real problem, IMO. If the pictures were hidden through obscurity, and the files physically hidden from normal viewing as well, then the 'mate' would have had to do some proper digging to find them. He isn't a mate at all, and misused the generosity of your BF.
I'd feel violated, TBH. I'd feel thoroughly disgruntled with the 'mate' - he has no excuse. He wasn't looking for pictures of daisies whilst he was investigating the contents of the machines hard drive. It's not like he stumbled across them by accident...
Get a big bloke to bounce the head of the 'mate' off the table a couple of times. Take pictures of the aftermath. Get a homosexual to give the 'mate' a little tongue-tickle down-there, and take a picture. Make sure he is aware that you have photographs - it'll even the scales somewhat, and reduce any chance of your pictures being 'mistakenly' passed around in future.
Hahaha, would love to do that but im not quite that mean
