    Wouldn't it get confusing having somebody blocked? You could miss out on chunks of a conversation and end up having nothing make sense, or just read what they wrote when somebody quoted it anyways?

    I'm all curious now. Maybe I'll go block somebody and find out.

    Well where this person has posted it says "you cannot see this bla bla bla" so if I got confused, I could unblock this person temporarily.

    At the moment though, I don't even wanna see anything they write.

    Remember that it doesn't block stuff that is written and quoted.

    If I block a user and they make a thread, is the thread that they made hidden?

    URGH I know.

    I wanted to block someone seeing my posts months ago (no guesses who hahahaha as its tooo obvious) but then I realised, what would be the point because you can see all the threads when you are logged out.

    But you can't block someone else from seeing your posts. That's the point of it all. You can block someone and you won't see their posts but you cannot block someone so that they can't see your posts.

    If you block me then you can't see my posts. However, I can see your posts.

    If I block you, I can't see your posts but you can still see mine.

    There is no way to block someone else from seeing what you write.

    Nevermind. At least I've got what I want at this end.

    I'm not too fussed about that person seeing my posts anyways to be honest. Its not like I'm going to write anything about them or out or anything that would upset them.

    It is after all a public message board - so everything is public, ignoring someone filters them out for you, otherwise it'd just be a private message.

    And remember reporting posts is the way to deal with threads you think are targetted at you, but if it's just someone having a conversation about something that you'd rather not read - I'm afraid your just gonna have to choose not to read it.

    I've only ever had once person on ignore and I used to click on the 'show post' thing because I couldn't resist seeing exactly what kind of mind numbing, idiotic, deserves-a-punch-in-the-face drivel said person had posted.


    The only way you can be really sure not that you'll never see someone's post is to lie in wait outside of their house with a big stick. Preferably one with a nail in it. You can work out the rest.....

    I have one person on my list. That's because most of his posts are way too annoying. But sometimes I'll want to see what he said, so I click on "view post". This is about once for every 10-20 of his posts.
