    Would you still have one if she wasn't? Would you do it with another guy? Usually if you're wanting an honest answer you can broach it in a jokey way, or have an educated guess if your partner would go for that kidna thing.

    I've had one not entirely voluntarily when I was younger and [more] foolish. Undoubtedly the worst sexual experience I have ever had and not something I'm falling over myself to repeat; however I have friends who absolutely thrive on their three in a bed antics.

    I'm not sure how you "bring it up"... suppose you just have to steer the conversation in that direction gently rather than dropping a huge ménage à trois-related anvil out of nowhere.

    I imagine anything involving winking, wagging eye brows and 'subtle' elbow nudges is probably a bad idea too.

    From what my friend told me, it involves a large amount of alcohol, and wanting to comfort a friend that had just broken up with his girlfriend. I'm going to her for comfort next time I break up with someone.

    I haven't but I'm dying to - I've just been really skint! I tried Opus for the first time a few weeks ago, I always slagged it off but it was better than I expected.

    How the heck do you ask such a question whilst keeping a straight face? I, for one, couldn't imagine being able to ask my two best female friends "would you like to have a threesome with me?" without someone bursting into laughter. However, this thread suggests quite a lot of interest in the threesome.

    Well we had all been drinking and were actually in beds at the time, so it wasnt as if it was asked over a cup of tea or anything. I wouldn't even consider having a threesome with anyone at this stage in my life, it doesnt really interest me and i'd probably end up really self conscious.
