I don't know that virus or how avg works, hopefully someone else will.
Yep what I was going to suggest...
If it is in use it will refuse tho, but if it is the case you can check the task manager to see if there is a process of the same name running, and then shut it down and try to delete it again...
To launc the task manager either:
right click on taskbar and click task manager in the menu
or
in the start menu, click on run, then type taskmgr + enter
On the task manager click the tag processes and look if you can find it in the list, then select it and click End Process...

Microsoft used to have it's own Java thing that would open the virus, but most computes have sun java on now, as MS no longer bundles it.
Just some steps to make sure you're safe:
start
control panel
double click the Java icon
at the bottom click 'delete files'
click ok
and you're done. :thumb:
I've only had 1 virus on this computer and it was in the same way. Just some sad net kiddies bundling viruses with java applets, but now because software developers know about it unless you have a seriously out of date system then it can't do anything.
