Right, this was mentioned in the other thread, so I thought I would start a new one for it as the other one is getting a tad big...
This one is for posting up mixes you have done for people to listen too...

I'm interested to hear other peoples styles of music and mixing!

I'm just uploading something now, should take about 30 mins or so and I will post it up. Just thought I would get the thread up now to start getting some interest! :D

    Just a quick 30 min mix for starters. Its all Drum & Bass.
    Not perfect, but not far off. I did use 3 CD Decks and 1 Vinyl Deck which can get confusing! :rolleyes:

    Track listing for it is below...

    If there is a > in front of the tune it means its a double drop. (Which is where you leave the mix in over the drop instead of taking it out the mix)

    If there is a >> in front of the tune it means its a Teaser. (Which is where you mix a tune in, but then after a bit mix it back out and go onto the next tune)

    Hmmm well it stopped playing like 20 minutes through but i think thats my t'internet fooking around. Been like that all day. Was good so far then. Mixing sounded pretty much perfect.

    I was just thinking, its a shame the mix I did cut out for you after 20mins, I would be curious to know what you thought of Prodigy - Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix)
    I know load of people who dont listen to drum & bass who think its better than the original. I would agree, its quite similar, but faster paced and a bit heavier.

    Oh right cheers mate. Will do :D Interesting to see the different styles of mixing. Although mixing DnB must be different to mixing Techno .. obviously. Will try and get one sorted :D

    Right click the link, click "Save As..."

    Save it somewhere on your PC (like your desktop or something)

    Assuming you have a CD Rewriter you can then burn it to CD as an Audio CD. Do you know how to do that?

    Thinking about it, would it be easier if I track marked it?

    Meaning you will actually be able to flick through the tracks rather than just having one long tune?
    Does make life easier!

    I didnt think anyone would be listening to it off there PC... and you can just skip forward easily on a pc!
    But cos im such a nice bloke, I will track mark it and re post it, it will have to wait for tomorrow though cos im knackard and cant be arsed at the moment!

    I don't think I have any of them anymore will need to do a search or do some new ones... and if I find the old one, well they aint good to be too good cos they were done a long time ago... I need money... I need needles :(
