Oh dear lord! Stay local! It's a new law that you can't drive more than 10 miles from home in the first ten years of passing your driving test! :)

Nah, just kidding. You're welcome up here anytime :).

A Suzuki as a first car? Haha, good luck.

Me and my mum are going for joint ownership (tho she's insuring it for like £300 a year) on a Toyota Yaris, so I can drive it with provisional license until I've passed.

I'm in love with Toyota considering her RAV4 was just written off by some twat who was driving recklessly. (The police did say though, that if we hadn't had been in a RAV, we wouldn't be alive).

Hope you have fun though, I can't wait for my first car :hyper:

Please tell me your getting the S Sedan. The other 2 are hideous. (more hideous, I guess would be the way to put it) especially the hatchback ;p

They are just so uuuugly! :p
Hatchbacks are reserved for minivans, everything else just looks silly. Don't know why, I just really really really hate them.

This is a Hatchback .. I think it looks pretty hot!!

I think the hatchback you get in the states aint a jot on what we get in Europe.

Something to do with a personal experience of a Suzuki, rear wheel drive and aquaplaning onto the opposite side of the road. Never again ta.

Which means all Suzukis do that.

Take note people, the automotive expert has spoken.

Aquaplaning is an avoidable hazard anyway. And if ever you'd want to switch to 4WD it'll be when there's standing water on a fast road.

I think it'd be a fair bet that 90% of 4wd owners don't actually know how to switch their car into 4wd, nor have a reason to.

Why would new cars be bad first cars? You know exactly when everything has been changed and replaced so theres no guessing and hurting your car. Most new cars, unless you've got a lemon, are less likely to have a problem right off the bat as opposed to buying an old one, you never know when something will break. I'd rather have a new car for a first (or any) than some used piece. My second car was used, it was shit! I would have died if that was my first car, I wouldn't have known what to do!
