My sister had some and they grew so big that you could see their eyes. This scared her quite a lot, so she stopped feeding them and I think they died, I can't remember.

when I was at boarding college one of my friends, who also shared a room with me, had sea monkeys, lasted ages until they accidently got knocked on the floor so they were no more, unless they survived in the carpet which I very much doubt!

i had some sea monkeys from march (my birthday), until easter when i left them with my flatmate so i could go home, he over fed them, which erm resulted in them all dying apart from one, so i told him he could keep the one sea monkey and apparently its reproduced and he now has two sea monkeys

It says overfeeding is the most common cause of death.

If that's so, it looks more like a hairy seahorse than a monkey.

My brother had them for about a month but he never got that many. I would't mind having some but I dont know any where that sells them. They'd die within a week, I cant even look after plants!

Even if they die they can be reborn  the booklet you get with them explains how :D

I don't know where you get them as ours were bought for us at christmas and only just got around to doing it.

I have had them sitting on my desk at work since Christmas. So 5 months. Stopped feeding them in about Feb but they are still alive and getting bigger. Less of them though. They are feeding off the algae in the tank (no way am I cleaning them)

I had one when i was little and it scared the shit out of me when they got big and you could see their eyes, i can remember lying on my bed at night at looking at the sea monkeys and all they did was look at me with those big eyes lol

My boyfriend bought me some about 3 years ago and i put them on the window ledge, unfortunatley for the sea monkeys we had quite a hot couple of weeks and they erm, sort of boiled to death.

    haha :D

really though, are they actually alive in the first place? I think an animal that can resurrect itself is pretty decent :x
