I know we've had a lot of "top 10 songs", "favourite lyrics" threads etc lately. But if you had to pick one song as being your ultimately fantastically most reflective wonderful utterly favourite fabulously superb song - what would it be?

I'm nosy, so... ?
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

Song For Lynette by Eric Johnson. Eric is mostly known as a phenomenal guitarist but he SFL is this incredible piano led instrumental. The piano line is simple but so fragile and beautiful sounding....it just moves my soul *shrugs*

My favourite song is I Hope That I Don't Fall In Love With You by the incomparable Tom Waits.

I think it will be my favourite forever and ever; it makes me so happy and so sad [as does the whole of Closing Time]. Perfect.

Scott Brown - Angel Eyes probably. More the associations than lyrics or anything, and it is a fantastic song.

Ronan Keating - When You say Nothing At All.

It's funny, because otherwise I despise his music.

There's various songs that make me happy though, reminding me of the past.

Alison Krauss' version is way better.

I've thought about it long and hard, but I think the song that always makes me feel the happiest is Nightswimming by REM, simply because I associate it with the last time I was in Australia, scuba diving on the Barrier Reef.

    I couldn't choose a fave.

Not because it's ever gonna be voted best tune of all time, but just for sentimental reasons really.

I wouldn't have picked that as an Incubus one personally...I like A Certain Shade of Green and Drive! But I guess it's down to personal taste :D
