I agree with Naomi. I get turned on more by f/f porn. I have always been curious about women. Ventured a little. But I will always have a man as a partner.

I guess times have changed since I was in my late teens :p, glad I didn't have to do anything like that to pull. But in terms of sexuality and sexual awakening, is it really a journey of self-discovery to be a straight girl pulling chicks, just to attract a guy? I'd say it leans more towards denial and on a more cynical note, deception. ETA: and I could understand if it was just part of growing up, I'm sure I've done things that would make me cringe now, but I see grown women in their 20s/30s doing it.

I mean, I'm a straight lass. My own personal definition of sexuality also includes who I'd have relationships with, and that would always be with a man, that doesn't stop me from wanting to explore sexual things with women, but it's in a much safer, less seedy environment than getting a snog and a grobe in a bar. It sounds like I'm being judgemental and self-important, that's really not my intention, but I can understand the frustrations of people who are bi and lesbian, and find that if they're being affectionate with their partners, it might attract unwanted attention from people who think they're doing it to attract them.

Yeah, i doubt many people are going to do it unless they're actually interested in trying to get off with girl as an end in itself as opposed to a means of getting male attention.

Anyone who's 100% straight isn't going to get off with someone of their own sex just to attract the opposite sex, because the idea itself would be disgusting. There would have to be some leve of bi-tendency.

    Rubbish.

Young girls know that if you kiss a girl you will get men round you like flies round shit. It will get you loads of attention, just as much as if you get your baps out for the lads.

It has nothing to do with wanting to explore your sexuality with a woman, and everything to do with getting attention. And teenage girls love attention, especially from men.

If you don't believe in the attention-seeking thing, why else did TATU do what they did? And Madonna?

i do think though that the girls would have to like the idea to some extent, whether thats because they're drunk or they're curious. i know some girls who would never kiss another girl and others who are quite open to the idea.

But kissing a girl when your drunk for attention is nothing like kissing a girl cos you have feelings for her. Its just a show

A couple of friends, in drunkeness, to get guys attentions, hooked up, but one of the guys said that they did it so often, he thought they were lesbians. There is definately a line.
Personally, not for me. Ive had a couple of dreams but nothing too serious and wanting to hook up with some chick.

The idea of homosexual acts is pretty disgusting to straight people of either sex. Anyone who kisses a person of the same sex obviously is, at the very least, vaguely open to bi-sexual experience. That may well be spurred on by the desire for male attention but the tendency is quite clearly there.

    It's called increasing CD sales.
