tom cruise has announced to the world he is going to eat the cord and placenta when the baby is born.
why?
because it's nutrisous.
surely the whole baby would be even more so.

its supposed to be nutritious for the mother.Put back some of the nutrients lost during pregnancy and birth. Not sure why he would eat it though, unless theyre going to do it as a family as a kind of rite.

yep the all baby would be better and taste better, but I see the point of doing so tho...
it's a way to do it more in a animal natural kind of way...
I don't see any proble with that tbh...

I had a good nosey at my placenta once I'd popped it out, I found it really interesting. Not interesting enough to eat mind you.

It was born the other day, I think placenta has a short shelf life when it leaves the womb and probably wouldn't taste very nice by now :p

Its got shed loads of female hormones in it, its supposed to be quite good for post natal depression, but it'll probably turn him into more of a big girl.

My mum's friend kept hers in the fridge for about a week afterwards. Didn't eat it though, just buried it in her allotment under the gooseberry bush.

Looking at that picture ... it must be uncomfortable working with your sleeves tucked into your gloves. A bit like tucking trousers into socks :chin:

Has anyone seen that "modern art" video footage of a german eating a still born baby?

I saw it on tv in the middle of the night a few years ago (that'll teach me to watch documentaries at 4am).

He (the "artist") said he was doing it to highlight the 'loophole' in the law that it is okay to eat a stillborn child as it never gets registered as a living person with a birth certificate etc. He vomited about three times during it.
