anyone know how much a new set of brake pads cost? ive to pick some up on my way home from work and just wondering if i had enough cash on me, noone here seems to know...strange.

gonna fit em ourselves.
I'm assuming you know how to fit them yourself?
Edit: Just read last post. Remember to take the cap off your dot4, and check it as well beforehand in case they need bleeding
should be staying light enough for me to do em.
Copper/silicon grease to coat the back of the pads and slider pins and bolt threads for re-assembly
Nice, big C clamp to slide the pistons back into the calipers
A tube of Autosol or suitable metal polish for the piston surface
A wire brush to clear off the crap
Don't forget to remove the reservoir cap before sliding the (cleaned-up) pistons back - else you'll pop the seals on the master cylinder...

although i would remove the cap for the overspill.
on topic,i would go to a motor factor not hallfords cos they are sure to be cheaper.
