Well it depends on your car...Mine were £20-30 but if you have an expensive car it will be more. Didn't you think to ask?

Just changed mine the day before yesterday. They were about £16 from halfrauds (Try to use that place as a last resort).

I'm assuming you know how to fit them yourself?

Edit: Just read last post. Remember to take the cap off your dot4, and check it as well beforehand in case they need bleeding :p

Go to Partco/Unipart. Depends on the car, but £15 or so. EBC make good pads, if you find anywhere that happens to stock them. :)

You ever changed them before? Bank on needing...

Copper/silicon grease to coat the back of the pads and slider pins and bolt threads for re-assembly
Nice, big C clamp to slide the pistons back into the calipers
A tube of Autosol or suitable metal polish for the piston surface
A wire brush to clear off the crap

Don't forget to remove the reservoir cap before sliding the (cleaned-up) pistons back - else you'll pop the seals on the master cylinder...

    what?

    never known that to happen,ever!

although i would remove the cap for the overspill.

on topic,i would go to a motor factor not hallfords cos they are sure to be cheaper.
