Just doing a bit of research..
What are the items you most often heat up in a microwave?
Mine are either a glass of milk or usually a bowl of soup straight from a can

Same. I dont really like using the micro-wave.
Actually popcorn. Ohh yes. Yum
I dont like microwave food really, unless im in a big rush!
I never cook anything in the microwave anymore except to heat my hair removable wax. Everything that can be microwaved can also either be grilled, put in the oven/broiler/boiled... and if its something like coffee thats gone cold, theres no need to reheat it double :yuck:
That's pretty much the only thing i ever use it for though.
Or milk for hot chocolate or my microwave sponge pudding which is yummy. Oh, and custard. But that comes into the milk bit really.
I do that. They really are the best potatoes.
Haha, I feel that way too. I'm very wary of it!
I do use it for milk occasionally though, like most others. Sometimes for porridge, scrambled egg etc if I don't feel like standing over the cooker too. :thumb:
I think you go to cook it a little scramble, then put it in a little more and scramble, etc
I got a plastic container for poaching eggs in the microwave, they come out really good and takes like 1.5 minutes and with some toast you got a very quick breakfast.
My sister uses some other thing which is plastic onthe outside and metal inside to cook an entire egg in it's shell, a lot less hassle then having to boil them in water.
sweetcorn, baked beans, milk, and for making cheese sauce
oh, and ready meals obviously... but not lasagna, cos that's better oven cooked :thumb:
Is the Meatloaf made from scratch or ready made?
I went to the UK biggest food expo a month or so ago and two companies where giving away free samples of their ready to eat meals, most like hamburgers and stuff, ready in like 70 seconds, One of the company's products was much better then the others and pretty decent - they made a breast of chicken (i.e. as part of a chicken sandwich) and was really surprised at how good it came out.
