Haha! Me and my fella were talking about those the other day - when he was a 14 year old 'street/park-drinker' his choice of booze was Special Brew, and mine was 20/20. I might actually buy some for nostalgia reasons.

me and Steph can't book our tickets til Friday now. i havent got a fucking clue how we're getting down though, whether its train (although if the train is over £25, or theres no cheap tickets left, I can't afford it) or coach or whatever.
Has anyone ever tried the megabus? Theres one leaving from manchester at 9am that gets to London Victoria (is that anywhere near where the meet is?) at 1.30pm and its only £14 return.
I am completely useless at this kind of thing, ive only been to london once in my life and that was a coach trip.

I'm getting the 8am coach that gets in at 12.45pm, like Stacey said. Never tried the Megabuses, I completely forgot about them actually.
I'm getting in at London Victoria, it can't be that far away from the meet and there's tubes and everything.

I think I'm going Huddersfield - Leeds - London down and London - Manchester - Huddersfield back, there ain't many cheap trains down to London on Saturday from Manc. Its £18 from Manchester to London, or £12 from Leeds and £12 back to Manc.
I can't afford to book mine till Friday either ;<
I have only been on the Megabus once from Oxford to London and it was only £1. £14 seems a good deal from Manchester. 4.5 hours is ages though!!
