Imperial Tobacco are the ones who run quite a few of these contracts. Part of it is because of the lack of profits that 10s make. On a 20-pack of ciggies, around £4 of what you pay is taken in taxes, leaving very little profit for the shop and companies. They make even less profit on the smaller packs, which is often another reason why they decide not to sell them.
Hmm... in that case I might start buying only 10 packs. Haha, fear my evil genius! :chin:

I do see circumstances where selling a pack of 10 is more convenient. For example, there are people who only smoke on nights out for some reason, buying and smoking 10 is easier than 20 in that case. Trouble is, in a lot of cases, it isn't enough to persuade the tobacco companies.

I suppose it would depend on teh_Gerbil's choice of cigarette.

Not really. It's cheaper to buy a pack of 20 than 2 packs of 10. Plus, he already said he smokes B&H gold :p.

Judging by the packets on the floor everywhere, that is Mayfair.

I'm sure there are plenty of nice parts in South-East England. Mind you, there's not much water judging by the hosepipe bans. Everyone in the area will die of drought this summer. Well, if you believe some newspapers. Which I don't. Obviously. :p

Replace the word "Awesome" with "Shite" "Expensive" and "Empty".

    It is:
Open Air (Allowing for the poor weather to get you)
Half Empty as some shops have left
Some of them are more expensive than other outlets (Millets wanted double the price for a multiool I can get at their Colchester shop cheaper)

Freeport really is quite lame. Colchester has two better shopping centres. Only good thing is the Cinema near it, and the Bowling alley is alright. It was a big letdown tbh.
