Okay, since I'm bored, and the favourite film thread has been done millions of times, I thought I'd see what everyone's favourite scenes in films are. Here's mine:
The opening scene of Bladerunner, with the big sweeping shot over the city. Actually the end scene too, with Rutger Hauer's speech.
The parlour scene in Psycho with all the birds on the wall, where you first realise that he's a psycho.
The end sequence in Seven, where Kevin Spacey leads them into the desert.
"These go up to eleven" in Spinal Tap.
The opening sequence in Once Upon a Time in the West - best start to a film ever.
The royale with cheese scene in Pulp Fiction.
The scene in Dancer in the Dark where Selma finds her money's been stolen. :crying: Brilliant acting.
The chicken scene in Eraserhead.

I'm not sure which one to pick, this movie is just so fucking damn good...
The best movie of all time imo.
The dialogues between Irène Jacob and Jean-Louis Trintignant at his house... and then when she's about to leave the judge says "wait - une belle lumière" and a beautiful beam of sunlight illuminates the room... and then is gone. - Rouge
When Amélie leaves all the clues for her boy to find in Montmartre. Also the beginning of the film when the characters are introduced, what is said about them.

In Love Actually when Andrew Lincoln is holding up signs to Kiera Knightley saying "to me you are perfect" etc.
The end of Phone Booth when the killer guy walks past Colin Farrell in the ambulance.
GoodFellas scenes - loads.
"Say hello to my little friend" - Scarface
Beach landing in Saving Private Ryan.
Godfather - Michael killing Solazzo and the police chief ... classic.
Hmmm there just a few, there are way too many to put down
Oh yeah that's a good one
The music go so well with it as well...
Michael's reaction to Fredo's betrayal in The Godfather Pt II is heartbreaking, the acting is phenomenal. The final scenes of Pt III are just plain hilarious, great viewing for a completely different reason.
The Trainspotting scene where Renton dives into "The Worst Toilet in Scotland" to Brian Eno's "Deep Blue Day." :thumb:
In The Bourne Identity, I loved the scene where he's sleeping on the park bench:
German cop: Wake up.
Bourne: Sleeping.
German cop: I said wake up.
Bourne: And I said sleeping.
*commence arse-kicking*
I love the scene in Election where Tracy Flick loses her shit, starts running around tearing down all the posters etc.
I can't leave out Moses Supposes from Singin' in the Rain. Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor are just spot on.
The baby scene in Grosse Pointe Blank.
The Starbucks question of the day scene in Ghost World.
"I'm a Golden God!" and the Tiny dancer scene from Almost Famous.
:thumb: Excellent call.
"How many dicks did you suck?" Clerks
Explaination of why there is no God and all religions are wrong from Dogma
Helicopter attack in Apocalypse Now!
All of Godfather Part 1 and 2
Eric Clapton & Neil Young's scenes in The Last Waltz. Eric's for sheer guitar playing (and strap popping off his strat), Neil's for the digitally removed line of coke on his nose
The last play in Rushmore.
The opening robbery in Mystey Men.
The 'Respect the Cock' seminar in Magnolia. The opening coincidence bit too actually.
It was more sci-fi looking than Star Wars.
Bank robbery scene in Heat ...
and the "Funny How" scene with Joe Pesci in GoodFellas .... in my sig
Moulin Rouge - just all of it really, but especially when ewan mcgregor sings (oooooo, he's so sexy when he sings!)
Donnie Brasco - "forget about it!"
The Shawshank Redemption - the warden's discovery
Heat - the cafe sit-down, and the runway scene
There are more but I can't think of any at the moment!
