  Maybe. They said Bush would lose the 2000 Presidential Election, and look where that's led us to. I do wonder whether Al Gore whether would have led us into a war with Iraq, but that's for another thread...

  He didn't win the election, he preempted it with a Supreme Court circumvention of the electoral process. Coup d'etat by any other name...

  In other words, he lost the election, asked his buddies in the Supreme Court to look at it, and suddenly he comes out the winner. I do wonder how much the lawyers made out of that...
