Recommend me a new aftershave. It could be your favourite or just something new.

Go!

Diesel masculine is my favourite, followed by the original jean paul gautier, and then by kenzo thingymabobby.

I like the older stuff more - as these days - they all tend to smell the same ... sickly!

get some old spice on ya ;) Put hairs on ya chest that will

May I ask what the point of aftershave? What it is exactly, I've never known anybody who uses is, but in home alone aaaahhhh. Now I'm curious.

Shaving irritates the skin, an aftershave cools it off a bit and adds back some moisture. Good for the skin.

I use Nivea (for men) balsam. The feeling is amazing.

Aftershave- being alcohol based- is actually really bad for the skin after shaving. Dries it out. Oil-free moisturiser is what you should be using to protect your skin.

The purpose of aftershave is to smell nice. It's perfume for men, but not called perfume, cause that's gay.

And so many of them don't manage to smell at all pleasant.

The thing that smells best on me is Physio Sport yellow, but that's not quite what you're after.

Unless we have different definitions, not all aftershaves have alcohol in them. Mine doesn't, and it's still called an aftershave.
You're right about those that do, though. Weirdly enough, most guys use aftershave with alcohol.

Maybe its just where I'm from, but aftershave is normally the term used for male perfume.

Not for the stuff you use after a shave.

Some people use it after a shave on their face, but they're idiots.

I guess it's different definitions then. I just checked my bottle, it has "after shave" on its name and "does not contain alcohol" on the bottle. :p

arent the ones that are just for a nice smell referred to as cologne? (however its spelt). Also, suggest an oil free moisturiser, i need one :p

Yes, but the words are treated as synonyms by a lot of people these days. I know I use them as synonyms- I took this thread to mean jazza wants a new perfume, not a new shaving balm.

    Simple Oil Control.
