Testicular Cancer from computer radiation!?

hi, I happen to masturbate about once a day while watching porn from my computer. Recently, a thought came to mind about whether I could be getting cancer from the computer radiation emitting from the screen. I usually sit about a foot and a half away while doing it so yeah. I know this sounds gross, but I'm really worried about what could be happening to me. Does anybody know anything about this subject? Am I just being paranoid over nothing? Or is there some cause for concern? :confused:

    Dunno about testicular cancer, but there was a study last year (i think) that if yu sit with laptops on your lap to often (whilest working on them) you can become infertile...

    Coz I have my laptop on my lap often, though I usually put a cushion or piece of cardbaord under to block the heat and such :shocking: :shocking:

    It shouldnt, I think. Any physicists in the house? I have heard about this too though. Computers do give off a fair bit of radiation, but its the type thats important, I think...I havent even thought about radiation in 4 years, so please someone correct me if I'm wrong...

    I did physics a-level 2 years ago...we did a module in medical physics, but unfortunately I don't recall learning about the dangers of laptop radiation to your man-bits!

    But seriously, I'm not sure...I'd be interested to find out though! The only radiation given off would be thermal and 'possibly' radio waves if it's using wireless, as far as I know?

    you'd get more radiation from a hostpital xray ( why do you thing you get the lead sheet? ) anyway, in 9 - 10years of CRT's i havnt had cancer, they dont emmit that much radiation, its not like its so powerful your getting a skin tan... buf if your that worried get a tft or projecter.

    Well, there would be an elevated risk if his masturbatory practice involves pressing himself against the screen and humping until the glorious release, but otherwise I can't see what difference he thinks there is between using the computer "normally" and wanking in front of it.

    its because the very closeness of the lap top to ur balls really. but this would take a long time to develop ie having ur laptop on your lap on the train for 2 hours while you commute to work. but seeing as you're only (insert age here) you have nothing to worry about, unless you do commute with a laptop on your laps for two hours on your way to work :chin: interesting if you do to say the least

    Still doesn't imply that it gives you testicular cancer it implies that you have it on your lap.
