Reading Rainbow Brite's thread on changing her username has got me thinking. If you could change your real name, what would it be to?

    I wouldn't change mine. Tis fine as it is. It's nowt embarrassing or anything stupid or bizarre so it is fine as it is :)

    Well I used to dislike my first name, but now I like it. But my last name i would change to holmes, and my middle name from jade to grace. But noo cos then my signature would be all messed up!

    I love my name because I've never met or read about anyone else with the same one. I feel it's unique to me.
    I would never change my last name if I got married, either. I feel my last name fits well with my first, and has character. Plus I'm the last one in my family.
    My middle name, Mary, annoys me. But I don't think I'd get rid of it, because it honours my granny, who died last year.

    There are other names I just love, but I don't think I'd change my name because my mother, grandmother, great grandmother and so on are all my namesake. Family tradition, if you will, so it gives me a very deep sense of identity.

    I like my first name. I'm not very keen on my middle name but I wouldn't change it because it's the name my parents gave me, and I suppose it does sound ok with my first name. Mary is a great name.

    i used to dislike my name (lucinda) and got a bit of stick for it at school with people thinking it was posh. now i'm older i really like it - but don't know when i'll ever get called it 'cause everyone calls me lucy. i've never met an adult called lucy though so maybe when i'm older i'll ask people to call me lucinda. :p

    I like my name. I'm sort of sad at the prospect of losing my surname when I get married. I used to hate my middle name (Elaine), but I quite like it now I've grown up.
