    I'm really not fussed either way. I don't even mind being called chick/bird etc in the right context. It could be worse, they could not know what sex I am... :chin:

    id rather be clinging desperatly to my youth in private tbh, but id still like the respect a woman deserves for other stuff. To be called a girl, is to imply someone thinks youre childlike. It wouldnt be appropriate for an employer to call someone a girl for instance, although I think its different if a group of women refer to themselves as girls. Its the same as men calling themselves "the lads" when really theyre 40 and bald. They wouldnt expect to be called that in any other situation though.

    I am 23 and like being called girl. Lady and woman just sounds so old and grown up. Although today at school I was told I was too old to be a girl :yeees:
