Must admit some of the stuff here sounds absolutely lovely, though.

yeh guess it's better than having none at all!
and mix them all up, tis great and filling
mash and pasta would be bad enough.

left over cooked chicken (you could use beef/pork/no meat at all)
pasta
frozen mixed veg
patassa (the tomato stuff in a jar that costs about 50p i cant remember what its called - its not pasta sauce just mushed tomatos)
2 stock cubes
black pepper/ chilli powder/what ever you have lying about
get a lasagne dish
put pasta and the mixed veg in so that it coveres the base, about 3/4 pasta 1/4 veg
mix the 2 stock cubes with a pint 1/4 of boiling water and poar in the dish,
add about 1/4 of a pint of patassa to the bowl,
add left over chicken/ beef / whatever
add chilli powder, pepper, any other herbs and stuff you have,
stir it all up
put in the oven for about an hour stiring occasionaly
if it gets dry add a bit more water until all the pasta is soft.
it makes about 3/4 meals

3 egg yolks
2 tsp english mustard or hot horseradish
100ml Newcastle Brown
tabasco sauce
worcestershire sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper
225g stilton or cheddar cheese grated

Put the grill to its highest setting.
Melt the butter on low, then let it cool. Mix in the egg yolks, mustard, beer and a dash of Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces. Add salt and pepper, and stick in the cheese.
