Do you have quarter machines?

Obviously they wouldn't be called quarter machines, but the little things, much similar to gumball machines but they have little toys in them. Little dinky toys come out in the plastic eggs. I love them. I save my quarters and I buy lots of stuff from them. I have a giant bouncy ball, some family guy mini shot glasses, stickers, oh a cool cat ring and today I got a rock :hyper: Quarter machines make my day. Though they really aren't quarter machines anymore, they are all 2 quarters now.

    yeah but they range from 20p to £1 machines over here :)

    have had some surprisingly good stuff from those things :chin:

    a mate of mine has some slot machines dotted around the land ...the kind where you put your money in and hope it knocks the ever growng pile of two p coins off rhe edge.
    if your realy lucky you might win ...a quid at most.
    people queue up at the change booth so they can feed their money into these things with no hope whatsoever of ever making anything.
    the guy who owns these things has never done a days work in his life.
    he just drives around collecting his winnings ...the money that for some strange reason ...beyond my and his comprehension ...people want to chuck away.

    Me and a couple of friends found one of those huge gum ball machines, so we wheeled it back to my house.. cracked it open and scoffed gum for months :D

    But ther are the good ones, these few who break the mould, rebel, fly the flag for coin courtesy and I milk them like a ripe and juicey money cows. :yes:

    lmao! This thread has just brought back memories of laughing at this seriously dumb girl i knew quite a few years back, who tried to put two 5 pence pieces into a 10p machine and couldnt understand why it wasnt working :lol:

    I must start to check the areas people dump stuff round here, used to find things. Most recently, we found a working NES with games, controllers, and the Gun!
