    Looks Lotus-y.

I could never make my mind up about the Delta-Used to know a lad that had a maroon Integrale but some idiot pulled out in front of him and he crashed, but the guy drove off. shame.

Not sure what my dream car would be. I like too many.
Realistically im thinking of getting another Escort Cabbie for the summer.

Some of us have the balls to use them all year round! Ice doesn't scare me ;). So long as you have decent gear, you'll be warm, waterproof, and skipping traffic like there is no tomorrow!

It's not the weather that scares me it's all the other drivers on the road. I won't ride a bike on the road again, in my experience it's not worth it.

    Off road yes.

They're often quite fun. But if you could have anything you wanted free, bet you'd go for something bigger!

    I know I would...

How come everybody wants a super powerful sports car? You can only do 70 anyway. Rolls Royce is where its at  with a chauffeur called Giles or something equally servant-like. You could sit in the back, have a massage from your chair, put on some relaxing music and have a glass of your favourite drink. Or, if you were bored, fit an xbox 360 in the back and play perfect dark.

Dittoed. Cars are dangerous though, and I'm careful about riding in ice because the 'barrier' you need up around you in case of cars (the amount of times in one day cars *almost* pull out in front of me and kill me is ridiculous) is a lot greater. If I'm riding at 30 and a car pulls out from the left without looking (turning right) and I try to e. stop then I've got no chance.

So I avoid riding when its icy if I can. I think by listening to a lot of motorcyclists, they have a good insight into how to adapt their riding to the weather. Some drivers / riders are guilty of ignoring it, and I've seen cars more than once lock their brakes on an icy road and just slide and slide and slide.

But yea, bikes aren't really the best vehicle for icy conditions, but compare that to the in town performance on 99% of days vs. the car (i.e. the car is stuck in traffic for 20 minutes, the bike is already there) and I'll leave you to make your own judgements. Every time you get annoyed when you're stuck in traffics, theres a motorcyclist filtering through who's thinking 'haha! I am a riding god!' (well, that is until the BMW changes lane without looking and squishes him :()
I get stuck in traffic 1 day a week, for 10 minutes. So what advantage to motorbikes have over me again? :p

Then theres the motorcyclist whos only been riding a few months, and when filtering through traffic takes someone's wing mirror off. They're not all that easy to replace you know :p

Motorbikes are too dangerous because of other road users imo. I've had mates in 3 serious motorbike accidents in the past year.

Oh and Shyboy, 'hypothetically' you can do more than 70 :p I don't like being driven around as much as i like driving either.

Cost? Depends on what you want - something rahter common - cheap. RAre - expensive. Its running them that costs (Fuel, Insurance, Parts, etc.)

Whats the point of a Muscle Car if it isn't a bright colour, or black? :p

I so nearly bought one - wish I had really. One thing I really wanted was air-con, and virtually none of them have it. Some of the very late ones have it, but they have cats fitted, which I didn't want...

    Bah.

Two fun, sensibly-priced cars that haven't been mentioned yet - the Porsche 944 Turbo and the E36 M3 - I wish I'd never talked myself into the Impreza. Oh well :).

Mm, nice. Hows the Impreza, besides daft and Impractical? :p

What you really want for Bargin fun and class... is an M6. :D I want one like crazy. Even a non M version is good... but the M is ultimate.

Yeah, yah should have got the Saphire - you can probably fit an aftermarket Air-con kit. Also, a few mods, and you have a cheapr Impreza Killer! Or a Nissan Bluebird ZX Turbo. :D
