When i was really little I had kind of blue with flowers on 3 walls and then these pictures of this girl doing different things in different seasons on the last one. Then when i was about 6 i had my room done in wall paper from Laura Ashley (i sadly enough remember that the design was called Kate) which was pink and white and green with flowers and stuff with similar curtains.

Then when i was about 14 or 15 my parents paid the painter to paint it black and purple for me which i thought was well nice I then bought some orange curtains from a charity shop an put them up as well - however they wouldnt' let me paint the truly hideous peach cupboards they had put in when I was 6 which kind of spoiled the whole effect....

When I was 18 I wanted to paint the walls turquoise rip out the cupboads and strip the floors (i even offerd to pay) but they said no. Then when I got this house they turned up one weekend with ALL my stuff and dumped it in my spare room and redid my Bedroom - hummmpppffff.

Anyway in this house the walls are kind of plaster coloured - kind of peachy but not in a yucky way.

The carpet I had was blue and full of staplers. (there was an accident, put it that way) The walls were white.

Bluey-green carpet. Pink walls, but had been painted over layers and layers of wallpaper, so if I looked down the side of my bed, I'd see bits of psychadelic 70s orange and brown, or white with blue flowers.

Exactly. What's the point? I just throw the covers back in place if I need to sit on it, so I don't get dirt on the sheets.

If people cared about what looks better instead of what's practical, they'd wear jeans all the time... oh wait! :p

Well, it was a mix between making an (apparently lame) joke and complaining about the uncomfortableness (is that a word) of denim compared to other material, despite which most people wear it more.
