That's not Scottish. It's an English Romany hybrid.

My favourite word at the moment (not to use, it just makes me laugh) is from the film 'Tremors', where Burt and Heather Gummer have just killed the Graboid that got into their basement, and they radio back to Val and Earl saying 'the mutherhumper is dead!' to which Val replies:
"Burt, there are still two left. Repeat there are two more 'mutherhumpers'"
Cracks me up everytime! I demand you all buy this film now, it's fantastic!

Ah I love it so much! So much that I don't want to watch any of the sequels because it will ruin the original for me.

I just imagined a scetch (sp?) with Rab C Nesbit trying to say all that. Nothing against Scots, I think you are grand, just I worked with a scottish land lord for 6 months and I never understood a word he said past his thick accent.

    SIS!

...is the only word I can come up with at the moment. Two years ago, a class two years above me used it all the time. It was just a casual word and could be used with any meaning.

    Anyone heard of it?

    Not SISter.

Hell half the words you lot mention still get used up here!

I say some of those words ! but then i love using terms no one else uses, it can be quite funny, and usualy ignotes someones good old memories which leads to plenty of laughter all round : D

I have a friend who still calls people dude.

" Aye thats cushti mate ".

    I hated that word - Cushti !

I usually end up coming out with old words.
