How's everyone coping with the "toughest day of the year"?

Personally, I've been at work since just before nine this morning and I'm exhausted! I only sit at a desk and pick up a phone but I'm shattered! :(

And, just because I like to punish myself, if you're not back at work/school/college/uni yet, how much longer have you got off? You lucky things! :impissed:

    Toughest day of the Year? already, who are these people that produce things like this?

    My day has been easy, didn't get up till 12 and been doing my coursework and smoking spliffs, toughest day of the year my arse!

    I'm coping great-Mum packed me back off to uni with home-made soup and bread so I have that, and have been lounging around all day.

    I start my new job on January 23rd, and Back to uni on February 2nd :D Although, I'm already starting to get bored :grump:

    er.... its going slow. but wouldn't call it the toughest day of the year. thought the 1st was tougher. but thats due to running around the new forest with a hangover

    Not too bad, it's not a tough day for teenagers though I can see the logic for later life.

    coping pretty well considering i've only had 2 hours kip, been doing my work at a fairly leisurely pace, and even found some time to play a bit of duke nukem 3d over the network, i felt like shit this morning but it's all good, only half hour to go :)

    so far the thing that is keeping me going through the day as normal is This site and talking on msn. god it great been the IT guy in the office no-one to check the firewall and router but me.

    its not been as bad as i expected to be honest, been pretty quiet and managed to get a fair bit of stuff done. looking forward to getting home now tho.

    i've been back at work, but it's been quite a good day. cause i've been off for 3 weeks i had 200 emails to look through, and by the time i was done with them the day was half gone.

    then i went to my dentist appointment and it had to be cancelled cause they had a power cut :yippe:

    As I have done nothing today, I will do less than nothing for the rest of the year. Somehow, I'm having a tough time believing that. :)

    I've been doing 10 hour shifts all 'holiday' in the Co-op, so I'm shattered already. Toughest day will be next Tuesday - I have FIVE HOURS of lectures in a row :eek:

    Was dreading work today - first day back and all, but it went surprisingly well. Busy, but well.

    i start back at work tomorrow, and i totally agree that the first day back at work after the christmas break is the toughest day of the year. after having nearly 2 weeks off its awful having to go back and know that its over half a year till ill be off for that length of time again, oh god i only just realised that when i typed it, now im depressed :(
