BTW the whole Tube Strike thing was so badly reported, the media are idiots.
They made out that no tube lines would be running when in fact the strike wasn't anything to do with Tube Trains Drivers just the staf that work in the stations so trains were still running with just some actual train stations closed .. I reckon loads of people stayed away because of the way the media reported the whole affair.
Loads of my friends planned for buses etc and when they got to where they were going they found tube were running all the time just at a reduced service.

That's the trouble witht he Media - there's was something like over 300 webpages on the net saying there's no tube trains and not even London Transport bothered to inform people thigns were going t be running almost as normal ...
No reporter ever bothers to check the actual facts before writing they copy and paste the info off each other and change a few words around!!
I reckon London lost millions last night because of this .. we walked in the streets before midnight and every place was just empty.
Whatever people that were in London whent ot see the fireworks on the river.
That BBC website says 200,000 people were out in London last night - for a city of 8 million or so that's nothing .. I'm sure you get more on a normal saturday

Yep. how was 5th Ave? Went there last NYE was fab. Not been in there for ages, ,my friend had a fling with one of the bouncers so its really awkward when we go in now!
Amazing. I was wasted - as my photo shows! Haha! All the bouncers seem to know my name and proper love me when I go in - hugs, kisses, and Vimto lollies. I'm not bothered like, I just don't know what I did to deserve it! Haha!
