    1) To try and be completely over the bulimia by December 2006 (and to like how I look - this year I'm not resolving to diet, just in case it triggers bad habits)
    2) To get over my self-harm problem (it's been 8.5 weeks, the longest run ever!)
    3) To cycle more and use the bus less
    4) To start getting 2:1s again
    5) To learn to sort my own problems without leaning on my friends, even though they are wonderful

    1) Drink more and be drunk more than last year
    2) Start cooking occasionally rather than relying on ready meals from M&S
    3) Turn up to every boat club training session and work hard to make the 1st VIII
    4) Pull more girls than last year and have more fun generally
    5) Appreciate my friends more
    6) Worry less about finding a girlfriend because then it's more likely to happen
    7) Spend less time online (whoops, not a good start)
    8) Pass the exams and make it into the second year of medical school

    1-Lose weight
    2-Finish learning to drive
    3-Work harder at uni

The third is pretty much an ongoing thing though.

I was thinking last night about what I've managed to achieve in 2005, I finished my degree, stopped being so lazy and cleaned up the drugs act, got my first ever 9-5 job and held it so far without getting fired, then got hired for the permanent position, made lots of new friends, basically gave myself a good kick up the arse........

I hope this year will be even more productive, so many things I'd like to get done in 2006.......

    1) Find a new house in a nicer area with cool people like me to share with
    2) Find a new job where I'm appreciated more
    3) Make new friends and generally be more outgoing
    4) Be more confident with the ladies
    5) Take less drugs
    6) Start saving cash seriously, get out of this country and start traveling......final destination unknown, probably india or australia.......

I've already broken most of my usual ones (smoking, drinking, etc), and to be honest I don't really care. I only make them to keep up appearances..

So, not calling them "resolutions", things I do want to do this year are: read more, take more photographs, give more time to my friends and boyfriend, cycle everywhere possible, use weekends and free-time productively, start Midwifery training, hear more live music, drink more good Scotch, start writing again, close the book on things in the past that I still dwell on, treat my mum more often, buy an amazing guitar (unlikely, but...), do more knitting, take weekend trips to the countryside, do more cooking, improve my German.

As long as I'm not asking much, eh ;)
