I have an HP 7200 printer (think it's 7200 anyway), with a slot for a camera memory card. It's a regular size printer, not one of those specialist photo ones. Anyway, I haven't got the manual or anything, but does anyone know if it's possible to print normal sized photos from the printer?
I'ts just I'm considering whether to buy a bundle package with my digital camera which includes one of those small printers, but am wondering if it'd be a waste of money. Even though my printer has the memory card slot, I can't imagine myself changing the ink cartridges to photo ones etc. every time I want to print off photos.
Thanks for any help.. x

Don't think I'll really bother with the photo printer as if I don't want to use mine, I can take the memory card and use one of those machines I guess. It doesn't really seem any cheaper to print them off at home because you have to buy the paper, ink etc. which appears to be quite expensive.
Photo inks just usually add two more colours for better skin tones, etc
I just bought a new printer last weeka nd only got a 4 colour printer because I don't print enough photos to be bothered about the few times when those two extra colours would make a difference.
If you have a large number of digital prints to print, then it's actually cheaper these days to get them printed in a photo shop like jessops than it is to get 35mm film developed.
Otherwise there's a number of online places that will print them and maill them to you, though I've not tried any yet.
