And still pepole trust the War Criminial and his 300 cronies.
But what can you do? The police have guns, we don't.
Maybe because there hasnt been an effective opposition for the past dozen years.
Wasn't it the Tories who introduce the handgun laws? Wasn't it the Tories who used the Police to break-up the Poll Tax demonstration in Trafalgar Square?
We let it happen then, and we're too apathetic to do anything now...
Funny thing is: from http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4507446.stm
Hehehehe.
Oh well, so we can't protest outside our own governments building anymore. Hmm... the state reigns in the powers... and to think they are kicknig up a fuss aobut Putin doing the same, when its going on over here too!
We do not care enough to stop the trend.
But virtually no one see's it as a trend, if you say to people that this is possibly the begining of totalitarianism they just shrug and say its no big deal.
You could take away most of people's rights without them even noticing, or caring.
I would say we need a written constitution, but the US supreme court gets around that by "interpreting", rather than following.
Too much power in too few hands. Too few rebels, and all of them divided.
We've got one, and its far more extensive in the shape of the EU treaty on human rights.

You wouldn't be saying that the legal system is just PR would you?
Good on you if you are.
If she can fight it then yes, it would, the problem is its quite easy to put barriers in the way.
