    Possibly...

...one of the best. Just wish they'd feature some vaguely affordable cars now and then.

Defintely. I don't know much about cars, but they are always good fun to watch.

I'm sorry, but the best programme on the BBC is Diagnosis Murder. No contest.
My 13 year old sister is OBSESSED with Top Gear though, gets really cross if she misses it!

Short. Those are the shiniest teeth I've ever seen. ;)

    He's bloody annoying.

The new sketch show Man Stroke Woman is quite good, sort of in the same vein as Spoons which was shown a few weeks ago on Friday night channel 4. Also, Friday Night With Jonathon Ross

yes, ok!!!!, misread the question in my tipsy haze

    wooh wooh ellen macarthur!!

did anybody watch dragon's den after the show tonight

and also, no it is not weird to fancy Richard Hammond, he's hot - its the feelings I am starting to get for Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall from River Cottage that might be questionable

Top Gear best bbc program? Most definetly.

Did none of you see last weeks episode where they showed the award from America they had won? ETA: ( wait, it was last weeks wasnt it? not sunday their but the one before )

Hammond isnt annoying imo the three of them are funny as hell, Hammond getting ripped by Clarkson for his bright white ( i havent had my teeth whitened ) teeth, Clarkson getting ripped for his Ford GT breaking down TWICE and May for.. being himself? lol.

The show is good but like someone else said i too wish they ould do lower end cars instead of supercars every week ( so it seems! )

Fifth Gear has NOTHING on it. Started watching it to see what it was like.

Oh and Diagnosis Murder is brilliant. haha

I think he overdid the Ellen Macarthur thing. Although her lap was impressive. In fact, I was more impressed with her driving than her round the world voyages - they sound dull. Honestly what has she done for humanity? The way Clarkson was going on you would have thought she'd come back with the cure for cancer from far flung lands.

is that not the point of Top Gear though, that there is nothing more important than cars - with a questionably ironic edge!

Top Gear is highly scripted, it's kinda like a comedy show based on cars - it is entertaining though - so little on the BBC is these days!!

Richard May is a god really. :p

Top Gear is probably better since it went to having Clarkson on it again. Fifth Gear is shite, thank God top gear is back. It was awful when Fifth Gear wsa the only motoring show!

I think 5th Gear is a lots more serious program and shows different things - like tonight's edition showed how airbags are made in a swedish factory and then they tested a 10 year old car to see if the airbag in it still worked.

Top gear is more light entertainment

Top Gear is total dump. Principally because of Jeremy Clarkson who is a complete dickhead.
