just wondering if anybody could help me with finding a foundation that sort of gives a luminescent quality to my face for the party season, and by that i don't mean that i am all glittery, just an alternative to matte thatstill also gives good coverage as i don't have the best skin tone.

Maxfactor is very good, but if you're willing to spend a wee bit more then I'd suggest Prescriptives Traceless. It's about 22 quid but as far as I'm concerned it's well worth it as it lasts ages - has a lovely sheen to it without making you look like a greaseball and gives just enough coverage
