Your game pie mank is included.
You've obviously never eaten game pie.
Cute and tasty.
It's quite often eat stuff I shoot or catch myself.
I love meat, especially game. It tastes far better than any farmed shite you get in the supermarket.
my mermaid pie ...let me remember and i'll get back to you ...the mermaids are getting difficult to come by.
1. Chop some garlic and soften in a pan with a drop of oil
2. Add a carton/jar of passata tomatoes
3. Add half a stock cube (I use veggie ones)
4. Add some sugar - about a teaspoon
5. Pinch of salt
6. Add a splosh of red wine if you have some handy, but it works fine without
7. Pour over pasta and eat.
You can vary this recipe by adding chopped tomatoes, peas, sweetcorn and red onion.
Is that a bit healthier Kentish?
ps Sort your parents out.
My mum turned veggie when she was 18 - my dad turned veggie when he moved in with my mum. I've always kind of thought that he is only veggie because he can't actually cook anything for himself, so it's eat veggie or starve!
flour and cheap lager.
mix to a thick creamy consistancy.
if you do fish in batter ...lower into the hot fat/oil ...very slowly watching the batter cook as you slowly slide it in.
if you just bung it in ...the temp drops to quick and the batter aint so good.
if you aint got any lager ...cheap pop will do.
you can add pepper and spices and little bits of peppers or whatever you fancy.
dont put salt in ...it makes the batter hard instead of crispy.
jam butty ...dipped in batter ...served with custard or ice cream.
even students can afford it!
some people like the taste of meat, just not the idea of meat.
and then some of us like meat and would eat it but not all meats agree with us :grump:
Seriously though, I have no idea. The more it tastes like meat the more I don't like it. Not that I have a comparison, but you know what I mean. I don't like Linda McCartney foods, and the only Quorn stuff I like is the fake mince and the fake chicken bits. They don't really taste of much so it's nice yo use them with different sauces to add the flavour. Cauldron foods are nice, but expensive. Best is Tesco's own veggie stuff.
ETA: Quorn burgers taste like cork coasters!
There's nothing like healthy wild meat. Better than your fat animals pumped up on chemicals.
I wonder how many people have actually bothered to try venison, some of the leanest, tastiest, helthiest meat you can buy in this country.
That's it. I think I'll have to make one.
how the hell did you find that?
like what did you type in the search thingy?
I like my meat fat and pumped up with chemicals.
my father used to force me to eat it when i was a kid ...i think thats the problem ...same with prunes ...the top two of my most hated foods!
leaving out of course the chemics.
remembering that the mostest is listed the firstest.
Well my gran used to make me eat the stuff when I was little too and I always thought it was pretty disgusting.
Recently I had some tripe soup though, something my mates old dear cooks a lot apparently and I thought it was qute tasty.
