    I don't mind hot, or cold, or anything.

    I hate the fact it's so bloody moist in the air in the UK. All the time. Hence, I lvoe gonig abroad to places where it is not.

    Is it just me or is it colder this year than usual? I'm suuuure it wasnt this cold last year! Or maybe I'm forgetting!

    I do like it when its cold and crisp though, anythings better than rain.

    it is looking like getting more severe by the end of the week.
    predicting coldest winter since before many of you were born.

    if it gets realy realy cold you will see truck drivers having to light fires under their trucks to melt the diesel ...used to love the sight and smell of that when i was a kid.

    I heard that it was warming up for a bit after a bit more cold.

    Don't they use better grades of diesel these days? My dad's got a diesel (car) and he's not had to set in on fire yet!

    This place and all its hills are fucking treacherous in the winter.

    cleaner yes but freezing point stuff ...dunno mate.
    actualy if i remember rightly it's not about freezing but thickening.
    colder it gets thicker it gets.

    I have had no heating due to the gas meter being on the blink. You don't know what cold is until there is no change in temperature when you walk into your house from the freezing cold.

    i spoke to my dad last night, he lives in somerset. he'd just got in from a frantic 19mph drive in the fog trying to find an electric heater as the boiler was on the blink. the man was coming to fix it the day after and they couldn't even manage for 1 night without heating! his fiancee did point out that my dad had lived in a sand bunker type thing while he was in the army and she, like me, used to be a student so had to sometimes wrap up warm instead of putting the heating on. bloody southerners!

    We got the first decent snow here yesterday! Yay! I'm going up to my parents tonight and they've had snow for weeks already.

    And here! Started here about sunday though.

    I walked to college in the fog yesterday... at 11am
    I walked home in it.... at 4pm
    I walked to my boyfriends in it.... at 8pm

    IT WONT GO AWAY!
