I really really don't like the dress, but would someone in their right mind love it enough to pay this much for it?

looks like something they'd sell in dewsbury market for the kiddy-goffs.

How mental. I would never pay that much for anything that came from TopShop!
Might be a good way to invest if you fancy ripping off Londoners on Ebay
if i wanted to spend £40 on a pair of jeans, i wouldn't go there.
And £40 for a wooly jumper is just cheeky.

They can afford it because of student loans and overdrafts.
i've got both of these and can't justify spending that much on a handbag.
then again i do have about 60.
what students do you know?? I get a lot of help from my parents, and I still can't afford that~!!!!! !!!!
As for the jumper, I was tempted, but having seen a gazillion people wearing it already, I passed. Plus ~I already have a v similar greay and pink wool, long one that was cheaper so couldnt see the sense.
I thought now was all about the puff-ball, and dark, victorian, military chic clothing. Not oversized jumpers.
Topshops prices are getting ludicrous. I used to think they were in the same kind of league as H&M, or New Look or something. But their prices are the same as Monsoon, or Next nowadays. I get annoyed when I go in there for, say, a black v-neck woolly jumper for school and it costs £25. Or £18 for a plain t-shirt that they've printed with a palm-tree motif. Or that they can charge up to £15 for a bangle. 'Tis stoopid. But surfy labels are the same. It's virtually impossible to kit out your wardrobe fashionably for under £20 a piece now.
Primark, peacocks and supermarkets are your friend for cheap n trendy clothes.
I agree that topshop is overpriced, but they do have some good sales.
and £97 for Topshop?!!!! :shocking:
