I know there are various forms of contraceptive pills.
I was on Microgynon but that has been changed to Cilest ... whats everyone else on? I know side affects can be boobs growing and my old ones didnt do that but i think my new ones might be ... YAY!
Does anyone know how many types of the pill there are?

i think my body just really likes the hormones.
microgynon has seriously cleaned up my skin it's fab possible boob growth too! been on it for 3 1/2 months, haven't tried any others.
simply because i have tried them all  cant remember the names of the others i tried though
Got bigger boooobies - definite plus, a shorter period in my first 7 day break, and I felt none of the pain I used to. My skin does play up...but, not to any more extent then what it used to. I'm happy, slightly nervous as I intend to run my next pack and the one after together as I don't want a period in between (holiday!) and im scared it won't work!
I'm now on Loestrin 20. It's much better, although I think it's made me put on a bit of weight. Nothing major though. I also hardly ever get periods, which is a bonus. (I've checked this out with the doctor, and it's a known side effect).
No-one can reccommend which pill you should try, as different people react to different pills in different ways. I found most of my friends were started on Microgynon 20. I was too, then moved to Cilest cos my skin was awful and I'd put on lots of weight. Cilest turned me into a hormonal, angry beast that no-one wanted to be around, so now I'm on Dianete.
It all comes down to what works for you.
it did that to me at first, but i stopped feeling sick after a few days. apparently if you take a travel sickness pill it can help.
 i was on microgycon for endometriosis and it didnt help, then my doctor put me on ovranette and it worked a hell of alot better for what i need it for
apparently it's true:

why you would make 2 identical pills with different names, i've no idea, but they are one and the same.
that makes absolutely no sense, there must be a tiny bit of difference or else why does microgycon not work for me, and ovranette does
*is confused*
not sure, but the ingredients list reads identically, so i guess not.
