My friends would all have fabulous birthday parties throughout the year, but when it came to mine, everyone had always buggered off on their summer holidays :impissed:
One year I ended up having a birthday party in April to try and make up for it.

Yeah thats the only down side, i always have to have my partys dead early on. But hey he wasnt a planned baby so nothing i can do about it :p

some bright spark jammed the heating on at work, so we've all been dying of heatstroke.

still, at least it looked nice out of the windows.

im a july baby too. cancerians rock.
the school thing does make a difference for a hell of a lot of children though according to my headmistress aunty, primary teacher aunty and ofsted inspecter ex teacher uncle.
Im not sure how much research has been done into it, but it stands to reason. a 5 year old is likely to be a lot more mature than a 4 year old, but by the time they are 13/14 the difference isnt going to be as marked. We all catch up in the end.

I don't really mind, it was good enough for me especially seeing as I hadnt been to a proper beach in years.

Well, I plan to go into London for a few days sometime, and I'm also thinking of going to one or two other places by either myself or with my girlfriend. I don't know yet. Either way, I'm not going to spend all summer at work! No bloody way!
