pain during sex

i know this has been done but a search hasnt given me an aswer that is helpful.

about a month ago is tarted having sex with my new boyfriend (not my first time) and it was all fine, no pain or anything.
the last couple of weeks when we've had sex its hurt. i dunno why though. i cant remember feeling torn or anything like that.
i have to make him stop cos it hurts so much. but then other times its uncomfortable.

any ideas what could be causing it or any suggestions to ease it?

would leaving off it for a week or so maybe help? that way if i am torn or something it would give it a chance to heal?

    might not be aroused enough before having sex?
    might be going at it a bit too rough?

    When I had sex with my ex boyfriend, I got a series of tears which brought on a whole bag of goodies including cystitis and thrush at the same time. Nice!

    I'd give it a week or two to heal properly, which would include no penetration, including fingers, tampons (you wouldn't want the fibres to be deposited in the tears :eek: ), sex toys etc.

    However, I would see a healthcare provider if it doesn't get better, gets worse, or you're worried about anything anyway.

    For more information, NHS Direct might be a good idea.

    i dont think its a problem of not being aroused enough cos i REALLY want it, but then it hurts :(

    maybe we've been to rough recently and ive torn, we're gonna leave off it for a couple of weeks, see if that helps :)

    In all seriousness though, when I worked for XVGN I'd post on the Gaming Update forums. They had a debate&discussions forum there - in all seriousness one guy from somewhere in the US was hugely against sex. He swore that it was nasty, dirty, sinful etc etc :crazyeyes And he wasn't joking!
