although yes, those non-iron shirts are a shit for packing, unpacking, and seeing tonnes of creases.
I never iron (including Dave's shirts). I am normally really careful about how I hang the washing up so I don't need to iron!
... same as me
Not the same as a crisp ironed shirt though. I have high standards.
Ironing is my least favourite chore. So yes. I will do all I can to avoid it. I know all the tactics
I only do that if I know I'm in a board meeting or interview / review etc
I do need to iron them though. God, I hate that job.
You wanna Iron mine for me Vicky? :hyper:
go on .. get you in the habit
Bit of both - get you sweating in the kitchen
Or the bedroom - hmm, or the living room or lounge - wherever you wanna get steamy with that large, hot tool
.. so yeh, how about it?
I hate ironing so much.
When she's a housewife she'll do it, she's said so. Until then, the words are, in order, "fuck"and "off".
Poor me:(
Even rather expencive non-iron shirts are really non-iron, you have to crisp them up a bit.
Out of interest, how long does it take you to iron an ordinary work shirt?
I work on about 6 or 7 mins a shirt to get a very crisp result.
About 3-4 mins per shirt is enough usually. I'm not very particular about the sleeves or cuffs cos they're creased by the time you get to work anyway.
Ill only iron something if its REALLY REALLY creased or its uniform.
i hang or fold to avoid ironing as much as i can. if i get something out to wear and it looks a bit creased, i just iron it then and there. it's really nice getting into freshly ironed clothes in the winter.
or you would wear robes.
also needing to iron doesn't stop you from ironing as you wear.
Yus i end up doing this most of the time, although i think it has something to do with me being lazy.
But seriously, iron-as-you-go is so depressing don't you think? Waking up every morning and ironing 1 shirt. I just do a load on a Sunday evening and it lasts me the week.
